APPE Signature Updates

From firmware version 4.3.3 and up, APPE signature updates are included in firmware updates and can no longer be downloaded using the APPE Signature Upgrade option in the router menu.

While the option remains in the menu for the time being, a “connect failed” message will appear (see fig 1 below), which is safe to ignore. Similarly, scheduling updates to occur hourly, daily, or weekly is no longer applicable. Just make sure that you have the latest firmware version to ensure you have the latest APPE signatures.
