T.38 basically allows you to connect your Fax machine to the SIP FXS port your VoIP device, and send/receive faxes.  However, there are limitations to the service:

  1. Your SIP Provider must support the service first, otherwise it will not work.
  2. Not all Fax machines are compatible with the router or the fax function service.
