To add wireless to a Vigor router which does not have a built-in wireless access point, you will to need to purchase a “Wireless Access Point” (WAP).  The WAP is then connected to one of the LAN ports (labelled P1-P4) on the Vigor router.

Note that you do not need to purchase a “wireless router”, since your DrayTek Vigor router will already have the firewall, NAT router, DHCP server and 4-port LAN switch functions built-in.

If the WAP includes a DHCP server, you can turn this off and allow wireless devices to use the DrayTek Vigor router built-in DHCP server.
